Tall Ship 'khersones' Visiting At Southend Pier

Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2005
Southend welcomes the return of STS Khersones, a 108.60 metre three-masted 'Windjammer', the only shop of its kind in the world. Built in 1989 and with an extra fully equipped trainee mavigation bridge installed solely for the trainees and passengers, the shop is known as an 'Active Sail Training Vessel' and is most commonly used by cadets, active trainees or tourists. This year, not only will visitors be able to go on board at the Pier Head, there will also be an opportunity to take a trip on one of the two sailing trips to be organised. Contact 01702 215620 |
